Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics is one of very few companies in the United States that actually develops, designs and builds its own ultrasonic transducers and generators. Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonic components are in demand world-wide for installation as Original Equipment in ultrasonic cleaning equipment of every description. We work with equipment manufacturers to engineer ultrasonic equipment packages especially designed to meet their needs.
Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics supplies OEM users with ultrasonic components consisting primarily of ultrasonic transducers and matching generators in a number of configurations.
Immersible Transducers
Immersible ultrasonic transducers are well suited for OEM application. They are readily available in a number of standard sizes and can be easily customized as required. Immersible ultrasonic transducers have been used in tanks with volumes ranging from under 5 gallons to over 5,000 gallons. Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics' engineering staff works directly with OEM users to select the equipment and layout ideally suited for any application.
Tank Assemblies
Unitized tank assemblies supplied complete with ultrasonic transducers, remote-mount ultrasonic generators and other features, which may include overflow weirs, heaters, level sensors etc., make incorporating ultrasonics into a larger multi-station cleaning line both easy and economical. The tanks are supplied to the OEM's specifications and leave Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics fully tested and ready to be dropped into place. Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics' engineering staff stands ready to work directly with OEM users to provide the necessary design assistance.
Weld-In Transducer Plates
For larger tanks and in applications where immersible transducers or integrated tank assemblies aren't the right solution, Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics can supply plates of nearly size or gauge with ultrasonic transducers already attached using any of our unique bonding processes. These transducerized plates are then incorporated into a tank of the OEM's manufacture. Plates are supplied with remote mounted ultrasonic generators and are fully tested for operation prior to shipping using wet testing techniques.
Transducer Bonding
Specialty manufactured tanks can be populated with ultrasonic transducers to meet OEM manufacturers' specifications. Since the tank configuration may be an important part of the overall ultrasonic design, it is recommended that Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics' engineering team be included in the design phase of system development. In some cases, transducer bonding technology may be licensed.
Ultrasonic Generators
Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics welcomes the opportunity to work with others to provide advanced ultrasonic generator technology to power transducers in the range commonly used for ultrasonic cleaning (20kHz to 300kHz). The standard line of Blacktone-NEY Ultrasonics generators are specifically designed to power transducers of our manufacture. Features including sweepSONIK, multiSONIK and shieldSONIK with CRAM are dependent on both transducer and generator configuration and can not be provided by simply replacing a competitor's ultrasonic generator.
Private Label Special Purpose Systems
Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics has designed many custom ultrasonic systems for resale to meet the needs of special applications.
