Ultrasonic Tanks for Precision Cleaning Applications
Blackstone~NEY Ultrasonics provides the latest in ultrasonic cleaning technology in its line of standard ultrasonic process tanks for precision cleaning applications. These ultrasonic tanks, with capacities from 2.5 to 35 gallons, are constructed of 316L stainless steel to resist chemicals and reduce process contamination. Their exclusive "corner reflex" design helps eliminate dead spots where contaminants might otherwise stagnate. Fill and drain ports are standard features as is a top flange with overhang for flush mounting. A 304 stainless steel outer skirt adds both function and appearance while making these ultrasonic tanks suitable for incorporation into countertops or for benchtop use. Integral electric heaters, lids, baskets and external filtration systems are available as options as well as a variety of ultrasonic generator configurations.

Select and program operation at discreet frequencies of 40, 72, 104, and 170kHz using a hand-held microprocessor. The multiSONIK™2 ultrasonic generator provides seven frequencies: 40, 80, 120, 140, 170, 220 and 270 kHz. The multiSONIK™ generators provide efficient part washing with the removal of micron and sub-micron sized particles.
Custom Ultrasonic Tanks for Precision Cleaning
Special-Sized and Custom ultrasonic tanks can be fabricated to meet specific requirements. Blackstone~NEY Ultrasonics offers quartz tanks for acidic applications including semiconductor processes that use hot-chemical baths for acid-based photoresist stripping. Electropolished and cove corner construction is available for applications where particle contamination and entrapment are a concern. Other exotic part washer construction materials are available upon request as are specialized tank geometries to meet your drawing specifications for new and replacement tools. Single and multi-sided overflows, spray bars, fixture positioning stops and the like become an integral part of the tank construction.
Accessories including manual work baskets and tank lids are offered as are process timers, thermal insulation, a sound dampening kit, and a stainless steel or PFA recirculation loop.
