Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics is a single source manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning and part washer equipment. We develop and manufacture our own ultrasonic transducers and generators which we in turn incorporate into complete "turn-key" ultrasonic washers of our own design and manufacture. Products range from basic ultrasonic transducers and generators to fully automated ultrasonic cleaners meeting exacting process requirements for both industrial and precision cleaning applications.
"Industrial" and "Precision" Parts Cleaning
Cleaning requirements are loosely divided into two categories which we call "Industrial Cleaning" and "Precision Cleaning." "Industrial Parts Cleaning" is typified by the part washer's need to clean or degrease relatively large volumes of relatively large parts to a cleanliness level based on residue levels or particle counts and or sizes. Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaning equipment incorporates lower frequency ultrasonic energy and conventional welded stainless steel equipment design. "Precision Cleaning," on the other hand, often involves the cleaning of critical surfaces using high or multi-frequency ultrasonic energy in exotic equipment. Precision Cleaning is commonly carried out in a "clean room" with sophisticated part washer equipment often required to establish part cleanliness.

Ultrasonic Soldering
The Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics line of ultrasonic soldering equipment uses ultrasonic energy in molten solder to assist in the fluxless soldering of non-ferrous alloys and glass. Ultrasonic cavitation and implosion removes oxides and provides mechanical abrasion to allow solder adhesion on metals including aluminum, copper, brass, and plated alloys.
